No, a monsoon blind is a flexible shade-and-rain barrier, not a rigid sealed enclosure, so there can be small gaps at the sides where it meets walls or railings. It will keep out sun and the large majority of rain and wind, but if you need a fully airtight sealed space a glazed enclosure is the right product instead.
